This strategic initiative represents a groundbreaking dialogue platform focusing on the Middle East and global issues, marking its inaugural session in Slemani (Al-Sulaymaniyah) as a bridge between East and West at a time when global coordination is more vital than ever.
Strategic Regional Development and Investment Opportunities
Delphi Economic Forum, a strategic platform for dialogue, coordination, and regional development, will address key areas including security, sustainable energy, economic diversification, and recent developments, with special emphasis on investment opportunities. This initiative follows Talabani’s participation in the main Delphi Economic Forum in Greece for the third consecutive year, where he highlighted Kurdistan’s commitment to reducing oil dependency by developing industry, agriculture, and tourism sectors.
During previous forums, Talabani called for increased engagement from the United States and European Union, emphasizing the need for sustainable growth through long-term partnerships. This upcoming Slemani event fulfills his expressed interest in bringing the forum to Kurdistan, demonstrating the region’s growing role in international dialogue.
International Participation and Coordination
The forum will welcome numerous prominent personalities from Iraq, Greece, and around the world, including major business leaders and investors, to formulate commercial policies and strategies while fostering regional coordination.
